Everett Alverez High School

PARADIGM was the Structural Engineer of Record for the Alvarez High School's new gymnasium and three classroom buildings for Salinas Union High School District with a construction budget. All the buildings were constructed of wood frame construction, including the gymnasium building. The classroom buildings feature high pitched roofs and the foundation systems consisted of spread footing and concrete slabs-on-grade interconnected with a grade beam grid to minimize the potential for settlement from liquefaction.
