Mountain Aerie Retreat is a mountaintop luxury residence clad in copper and designed to celebrate the owner’s passion for collecting and creating art. Gallery spaces link all aspects of the home.

A system to the upper level and a “low-tech” winch, allow paintings to be lowered from the studio window to support the functionality and delight of the 6,850 square foot retreat nestled in the oaks.

The home received the new cladding as well as the addition of an artists studio and garage as part of the latest renovation. As part of the cladding project and the addition of the garage and studio, PARADIGM designed a seismic rehabilitation scheme to ensure the owner could protect his investment in the residence as well as the contents.
