Project Columbia was designed for Carpathia Hosting with a joining venture between two major data hosting firms. 

PARADIGM was selected as the engineer of record for this 10 MW (four 2.5 MW generators), 64,7000 gsf building provides space for 1,200 cabinets on two floors of data hall space.

Two stories of electrical room are arranged along with length of the data hall space. The generators are located outside in manufactured enclosures.

Cooling is provided by 20 DC custom fabricated rooftop HVAC units bottom fed to duct header distribution. The first-floor ductwork is fed by shafts through the second floor data hall which were planned and coordinated with the cabinet layout.

This project includes a small service area which incorporates security, meeting rooms, offices, shipping/receiving and storage.
