PARADIGM has worked directly for this building as a client and additional confidential clients leasing data center space within their facilities, including an 8,500 gsf project located on the fourth floor. 

With existing designated electrical and mechanical chases and pathways to the fourth floor, new electrical and mechanical infrastructure equipment had to be designed and placed in the new 8,500 gsf space. Our evaluation included structural modifications to the existing floors under the electrical room loads and data cabinets; strengthening floors or redistributing loads so as not to overload a floor; specifying maximum cabinet loading; and evaluating floors to support electrical conduit to accommodate a raised access floor solution.

We were also required to review the impact of suspended electrical distribution and adding specified cooling units in anticipation of future equipment.
